Ilaria Rosani holds a Bachelor degree in Modern Languages for Translation and Interpreting from the Scuole Civiche di Milano (Milan, Italy), achieved in 2015, and graduated in International Tourism at USI – Università della Svizzera italiana (Lugano,Switzerland) in 2018. For her thesis, she collaborated with and worked at USI’s UNESCO Chair in ICT to develop and promote sustainable tourism in the World Heritage Sites to design, produce and coordinate a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) “Tourism Management at UNESCO World Heritage Sites (vol. 1)”. It was offered by the UNESCO UNITWIN Network “Culture, Tourism Development, led by Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Paris, France), and helped learners gain knowledge about different aspects of tourism management at UNESCO World Heritage Sites, from UNESCO’s principles and doctrines to Communication Technologies, Economy, Management and Planning.
After her graduation, she supervised and worked on the second volume of the network-led MOOC,”Tourism Management at UNESCO World Heritage Sites (vol. 2).
Currently, she is working on a new tourism and heritage eLearning project at the UNESCO Chair of USI.
